AZELTON, Margaret Esther (Bache’) – of Genesee, MI, age 98, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her residence. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Davison Cemetery; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United in Christ Methodist Church, in Margaret’s memory.
Margaret was born in Genesee, MI on July 10, 1926, daughter of the late LaVern and Bertha (Magel) Bache’. On November 15, 1944, she married George Azelton and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2005. Margaret was very devoted to her church, faith and family.
Margaret is survived by 2 children, Michael (Cheryl) Azelton and daughter, Jill (Shawn) Simpson; grandchildren, Matthew W. (Lynn) Azelton, Michael Todd Azelton, Tad (Melanie) Simpson and Maggie (Jon) Bodnar; great-grandchildren, Christian C. (Mikayla) Azelton, William C. Azelton, Thomas M. Azelton, Mia Bodnar, Trent Bodnar, Ella M. Simpson and Gabrielle Simpson; one great-great grandson, Levi Azelton; many other loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Madelyne (Richard) Sawyer.
