JENKINS, Donna M. age 88, of Flushing, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at McLare-Flint Hospital. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Flushing United Methodist Church. Pastor JJ Mannschreck will officiate. Burial to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2019 at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Tuesday at church until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
Donna was born on December 20, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to Guy and Violet (Stockton) McGowen. She was a Flushing High School graduate. She married William Donald Jenkins on August 19, 1950.
Donna is survived by her children, Denise (Ronald) Johnson, Bill (Harriet) Jnekins, Brett (Susan) Jenkins, and Becky (Brad) Stamm; grandchildren, Wes (Jill) Johnson, Shannon (Mike) Murray, Brody (Megan) Johnson, Louis Stefanic, Joseph Jenkins, Ashley Kunkel, Adam Kunkel, Dillon Jenkins, Danee (John) Horn, Alyssa Stamm and Shaina (Justin) Wilson; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Dale (Marie) Jenkins; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill “Don” Jenkins, her parents, and her parents-in-law, Cecil and Sara Jenkins. |
