FORD, Paulette K. - Age 72, of Fenton and Grand Blanc, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, October 4 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday and from 11 AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Paulette Ford Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.
Paulette was born September 11, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Gilbert and Leora (Thompson) Ford. She had worked for GM in the past. Paulette enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: three children, Stephanie Melancon, Stacey Melancon-Drinkwine (Michael Drinkwine), Jason Melancon (Jill) all of Flint; grandchildren, David, Nicole, Tina and Jessica Wenn, Josiah and Jory Melancon, Gage Waycaster, Ethan Melancon; great-grandchildren, Ashyiah, Josiah Jr., Nick, Wayne, Makayla, Mariah, Kenny, Audriana, Aljanay, Devaughn, Tristan, David, Aydrian; brothers, Gary Ford, Steve Ford, and Charles (Pam) Boyle; sister Gilda "Jeannie" Ford; lifelong sister-in-law Kathy Humphrey; lifelong friends, Mike Luce, Trudy and Brian Whitney.
