Baley, Imogene Sarah of Flushing, age 92, passed on to eternity to be with her Lord on Monday, November 20, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. David Hensler will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or Carriage Town Ministries.
Imogene was born in Bunny, Arkansas on May 13, 1925, the daughter of France and Bette Underwood. She was later lovingly raised by her stepmother, Marcella Underwood. Imogene married Arlie Baley in Charleston, Missouri on February 23, 1946 and they became residents of Flint in 1947. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1991. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling to National Bowling tournaments, which allowed her to see much of the county and left her with many happy memories. Imogene loved spending time at the family cabin up north in Gladwin, playing cards and being with family.
She is survived by her daughters, Regina and husband Ed Berry, Arla and husband Michael Slogor; grandchildren, Wendy Berry, Scott and wife Melanie Berry, Matt Slogor, Sara and husband Ernest Garcia, T.J. and wife Jessica Slogor; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Colton, Braden, Charlie, Tessa, Ashton, Irelyn, Claire, and Molly; brother, Jerry Underwood; sisters, Janet Johnson, Shirley (Hazen) Germaine, Nancy (Dick) Cohee, Barbara Moore; many nieces and nephews; and her dear Bowling Buddies, Billie, Gloria, Bobbie, and Jeannine. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph, Wilber; sisters, Faye, Deanna, and Judy.
