Grace Anna Hannan, age 90, of Burton (formally of Millington) passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home. Grace was born July 2, 1928, in Clio, Michigan to the late Gordon and Hazel (Benjamin) Green. She married Sharon Samuel Hannan September 4, 1948 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Otter Lake. Grace is survived by her three daughters, Marie (Ray) Beatty of Arkansas, Joyce Starks of Burton and Sandra (Dan) Nielsen of Vassar; six sons Sharon "Butch" (Dianna) of Illinois, Raymond (Marilyn) of Kentucky, Clarence Allen (Pat) of Burton, Samuel Owen of Nevada , Daniel (Monica) of Illinois and Vernon of Burton; twenty-four grandchildren; several great and great great-grandchildren; three sisters Florence Edmonds of Vassar, Dorothy (Fred) Staley of North Carolina, and Kathy Currier of Millington. In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Andrew; five sisters, Lillian Robinson, Edna Carlson, Marie Eddy, Joyce Miller and Beatrice Brock. In keeping with Grace’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are being planned at this time.
