Scott, Clyde of Flushing, age 73, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Clyde was born in Flint, Michigan on April 30, 1941, the son of George and Mary (Meginnis) Scott. He married Celia St. John on May 16, 1964, in Flushing, Michigan. She preceded him in death on December 19, 2004. Clyde retired from Meijer after working over 30 years. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his close friends and family.
Clyde is survived by his son, Christopher and wife Trina Scott; grandchildren, Brandi and husband Preston, Tyler and Tessa; great-granddaughter to be, Raylee; sister, Bertie. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Linda, Dodo, Donna.
