Stone, Leslie E. – of Clio, age 87, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, October 31, 2016, at Messiah Lutheran Church – 520 Butler St. in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 3-8 PM and Monday from 10 AM until the time of service.
Leslie was born February 9, 1929, in Three Oaks, Michigan. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard. He met his sweetheart, Aloha, at Ray Larsen Dodge and Plymouth in Clio and they married on November 8, 1952. Leslie retired from GMSPO and later worked for Pirate’s Park and Pamida. He attended Oakland University and GMI.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Aloha; Daughters: Pamela Stone of Grand Blanc and Patricia (Steven) Roberts of Davison; Grandson, Robert Lewis of North Carolina; His parents, John and Luella Stone, waited for him in heaven.
