Coyne, Eunice M. of Flushing, age 91, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Cornerstone AFC, Flint. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, at Rossell Funeral Home, Rev. Jeanne Wisenbaugh officiating. After cremation, Mrs. Coyne's remains will be interred in the Turner family plot in Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday until time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Eunice was born on the family farm on Turner Road in Flushing Twp. on August 9, 1922, the daughter of Thomas and Orpha (Reed) Turner. The family moved into town when Eunice was two. She graduated from Flushing High School in 1940 and was a Sayre Scholar. She graduated from Baker Business College and later worked and retired as a Secretary at G.M.I. (Kettering University).
Mrs. Coyne was always involved in crafts, bird watching, and gardening and had a gift for making friends. She was the heart of her family and dearly loved her grandchildren, and especially, her great-granddaughter, Mary.
Eunice will be truly missed by her son, Greg and wife Shannie Coyne of Flushing; grandson, Connor and wife Jessica Coyne of Flint and their daughter, Mary; granddaughter, Caitlin Coyne of Austin, TX; grandson, Christopher Cody and wife Catherine Coyne of Manchester, U.K. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Georgia Rae Coyne; brother, Kenneth Turner; and life-long friend, Elizabeth McClain.
The Coyne family wishes to thank Dr. Henry Mendoza, for his compassionate and professional dedication to Mrs. Coyne's health and welfare, and the owners and staff at Cornerstone AFC: Marty and Bonnie, Sue, Suzy, Jay, Shannon and Agnes for their loving care. |
