CULLEN, Mary Ann – Of Flint, age 84, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at McLaren-Flint, among her family.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road in Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Elmer Knopf Learning Center.
Visitation 10 a.m. Friday at church until the time of the Memorial Mass.
Mary Ann was born in Flint, MI on February 25, 1932 and was the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Kunkleman.
She married James R. Cullen on November 11, 1950 in Flint and was married for 61 years until and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2006.
Mrs. Cullen was employed by the Genesee Intermediate School District for over 20 years.
Surviving are sons, James M. and wife Debra of Columbia City, Indiana,
John and Alan, both of Flint;
grandchildren, Jonathan and wife Nikki of Durham, NOrth Carolina,
James M., Jr. of Columbia City, Indiana,
Mary Melissa and husband Chris of Niceville, Florida;
7 great-grandchildren, Addie, Emmie, Josie, Charlie, Erica, Emily and Eileen;
brother, Robert Kunkleman of Grand Blanc;
sister-in-law, Beverly Cullen of Mesa, Arizona;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
