TURNER (BENTLEY), Maxine – Of Burton, age 87, died Monday, December 16, 2019.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Duane Lindsey officiating.
Burial in Union Plains Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Friday until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Maxine was born in Flint, Michigan on July 31, 1932, the daughter of the late Earl and Elsie Bentley.
She graduated from Bendle High School in 1950.
On September 16, 1989 she married Drew Turner in Flint.
She loved spending time in California with her grandchildren, Connie and Garret.
Mrs. Turner worked at different grocery stores and retired from
A & P in the late 80’s.
Surviving are daughter Yulanda Ferguson and husband Gary Browder;
son, John and wife Patty Turner;
grandchildren, Connie and Garret;
step-daughter, Debbie Mangrum and her children, Michelle (Mangrum) King and Kevin Mangrum, Jr.
