REDING, Edward D. “Big Ed” – Of Swartz Creek, age 69, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at McLaren-Flint.
Memorial service will be held at 12 noon Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Jason McGhee officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
Visitation 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Edward was born in Calumet, Michigan on September 25, 1947, the son of the late Hubert and Jeannette (Chatel) Reding and was a resident of Swartz Creek for the past 42 years. On April 27, 1974, he married Sarah Mitchell. He enjoyed deer hunting and shooting at the range.
Mr. Reding was employed by GM-Fisher body and Metal Fab for over 38 years.
Surviving are wife, Sarah;
daughters, Sarah Christine Reding and Bethany (Jeremy) Domanik;
6 grandchildren, Patrick, Aliya, Sean, Andrew, Madison and Miles;
one brother, John.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert.
