OLDS, Joanne – Of Flint, age 81, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Joanne was born in Flint, Michigan on June 17, 1931, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Clayton) Wall and was a resident of Flint.
On May 23, 1952 she married Burleigh Olds.
She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and going to eat with her friends.
Surviving are children, Lois Hains of Flint,
Michael (Kristen) Olds of Seattle, Washington,
Katie (Chris) Decker of Gladwin,
Douglas (Annette) Olds of Davison and
Jeff Olds of Flint;
four grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren;
one great-grandchild;
two sisters, Mary Margaret Smith of Florida and Ann Massimino of Flushing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burleigh, on October 25, 2006 .
