Tracy, Agnes Clara age 92 1/2 years, entered eternal life on September 2, 2014 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through the past two and a half years following her first stroke. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, September 6, 2014 at St. Matthew Catholic Parish, 706 Beach St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint from 6-8 pm Thursday, Sept. 4, with a special 7 pm Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Memorial Service, and from 12-2 and 4-8 pm Friday, Sept. 5, with a Rosary Service at 7 pm. Family will also receive visitors from 12 :30 pm Saturday until time of service at the church. Concelebrate by Fr. Frederick Taggart O.S.A. and Fr. Jerry Ryan O.S.A. Private family burial at All Saints Cemetery. Agnes was born on January 20, 1922 in Flint, MI to John and Josephine Cisowski. She was joined in marriage to George F. Tracy on July 8, 1950. Throughout her life she always put others before herself and won the trust and hearts of many. Agnes will be remembered for her countless acts of kindness including her signature greeting cards that she faithfully sent to family and friends on special occasions as well as for her famous rum cake. Agnes offered 72 consecutive years of volunteer service to the community. She shared her time and talent with the Old News Boys, the TB Sanatorium at Genesee Memorial Hospital, Fairwinds Girl Scout Council, Flint Goodwill Industries Auxiliary, and St. Joseph Hospital/Genesys Auxiliary to mention a few. Agnes was a 60 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a pillar of St. Matthew Catholic Parish. Agnes lived a life of faith , purpose and compassion. "Well done my good and faithful servant." Agnes is survived by three children; Linda (Jim) Tracy-Stephens, George ( Patty) Tracy and John (Pam) Tracy. Agnes also leaves behind five grandchildren; Sarah, George III and special friend (Amber Garland), Austin, Cristy and (fiance Richie Bucy and son Zeph), and Ana, one great grandchild Paxtyn and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister-in-law Stan and Betty Cisowski, brother Louis and sister-in-law Marlene Cisowski and nephew Fred Cisowski. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from many including: Evergreen Health Services and Heartland Hospice.
