He retired from GM after 30 years of service. Tony was a loving, selfless and dedicated father and pillar of the family, bringing joy to all who loved him. He was a hard worker since his youth on the family farm in Powers, MI. An avid car lover, he built his first hot rod at age 16! He never let health problems get in the way of doing what he loved…spending precious quality time with all of his grandchildren. Attending recital, band or choir performances, dance and sporting events as all the kids’ number one fan. Ever enjoying his cup of coffee, he earned the nickname “Grampa Coffee.” He told wonderful stories, enjoyed camping, westerns and casino trips. He especially loved traveling to the U.P. Tony was giving, patient and grateful. Most importantly, he loved the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

Tony is survived by his daughters, Debbie (John) Scott-Dougherty of Davison and Suzi (Tim) McAdam of Genesee Township; Tony especially loved and was loved by his grandchildren, Christine (Doug) Wilson, Sarah (Joe) Skowronek, Megan (Matthew) Burleson, Tracy (Jesse III) Minor, Brian Dougherty, Mark (Heather) Dougherty and great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Tommy, Abigail, Jesse, Logan, Lilly, Maddy, Brenda and Riley.
