KUCZERA, Kathleen E. (Kathy) - Flint, age 73, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation will follow.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kuczera will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Michigan.
Kathleen was born in Flint, Michigan on August 19, 1946, the daughter of Norman and Katie (Coulter) Daniels.
On August 13, 1966 she married John Kuczera.
Kathy was devoted to her soul mate of 53 years, John.
She was a member of St. Michaels from 1946-2008 and also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Her faith was unwavering.
She was an avid painter, loved the theater, ballet and traveling.
Kathy was a mom, wife and grandmother. She always had grandkids around.
Surviving are husband John;
kids, John and Mary Kuczera,
Dave and Gena Kuczera,
Andy and Sarah Kuczera and Kristen and Erik Csirke;
grandchildren, Kalin (Deborah) Richardson, Trent (Lauren Kline, fiancee’), Jessica Kuczera, Emilee Kuczera, Rachel Kuczera, Joseph Csirke, Jacob Csirke and Maddy Kuczera;
great-grandchild, Mandy Kuczera and
sister, Sister Mary Norman.
