LITTLE, Junior B. – age 84 of Flint, MI passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Redwood Manor in Burton, MI. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11AM-1PM. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Junior was born September 4, 1932 in Morgantown, WV to the late Bryan A. and Myrtle Esta (DeWitt) Little. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Junior married Shirley Uphold in WV September 2, 1961. He retired from General Motors – Fisher Body in 1996 after 33 years of employment. He was a member of VFW Post 8236 – Leo Crow. Junior enjoyed woodworking, riding his bicycle, fishing, and country music. His favorite activity was to go camping. He loved the outdoors. Junior was always busy “tinkering around.” He could fix anything. Junior was a man of few words, yet when he spoke people listened. A lot of the times he could be heard clowning around and telling jokes. He was the most proud of his family and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Little; sons, Greg (Rhonda) Little; Randy (Jeanette) Little; daughter, Twyla (Eric) Wolfe; grandchildren, Jeff, Jessica, Terica (Clint), Joshua (Tamara), Nicholas, and Madlynn; 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Hazel, Gertie, and Evelyn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Redwood Manor and Grace Hospice for their care and compassion.
