BALLANCE, Dakota Lee – Of Burton, age 20, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Chad Montague officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Suicide Prevention.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dakota was born in Flint, Michigan on June 30, 1995.
He enjoyed martial arts, football, baseball, animals, drawing and reading. He was very involved at Rugged Cross Community Church.
Surviving are father, Michael and wife Lori Ballance of Flint Township;
mother, Tamara Ballance and Dean York of Burton;
sister, Michelle Ballance and Jon Lott of Burton;
brother, Kyle Ballance and fiancee’ LeeAnn Thorsgard of Lapeer;
step-sister, Brianna Slavens of Ann Arbor;
grandmother, Beverly Ballance of Grand Blanc;
nephews and nieces, Ayden, Evelyn, Victoria and Jonathan;
aunts, uncles and a host of special friends.
