RUST, Anna Marie – Of Flint, age 82, died in her sleep after courageous battle with breast cancer on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her residence.
Memorial service will be held at 12 noon Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Cremains to be interred in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Memorial Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Anna was born in Flint, Michigan, on October 10, 1931 and was a resident of Flint.
On August 31, 1957 she married Donald Rust in Flint.
She was a member of PI Omicron National Sorority, member of Flint Power Squadron and the Flint Outboard Skippers.
She loved boating, rollerblading, walking with neighbor ladies, bicycling and dancing.
Surviving are husband, Donald;
daughter, Elaine Marie Cussans;
son, David Hilding(Dawn) Rust;
grandchildren, Jenny Cussans, Justin Cussans (Amanda Carlson), Nicholas (Erika Swanson) Cussans, Kevin (Casie)Goss and Kasey Goss;
great-grandchildren, Lexi, Ethan, Lilly, Victoria, Aidrien and Landon.
She was preceded in death by parents; son, Matthew in 1982 and granddaughter, Kristina Goss in 2013.
