Faye Marie Burnash of Burton, age 74, died Monday June 25, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday June 28, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Carl Simon officiating with private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Faye was born in Flint Michigan June 6, 1938 the daughter of the late: Fredrick & Flora (Heidtman) Yauch and has resided in the Flint area most of her life, spending part of her retirement years in Florida. She was joined in marriage to Michael Burnash October 29, 1956. Faye was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 273 in Florida. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Mike, children; Michael & Dionanda Burnash, Vickie & David MacKenzie, Mark & Maria Burnash, Michele Thompson, Matthew & Sharon Burnash, and Mitch & Shelby Burnash.
