GRAY, Marilyn Mae – age 78 of Burton, MI passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held Sunday May 17, 2015 at the funeral home from 4PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held Monday May 18, 2015 at 11AM with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Scott Ludwig officiating. Burial immediately following at Flint Memorial Park. Marilyn was born August 15, 1936 in Gladwin, MI to the late Max and Leatha (Hutson) Grove. She married Verl T. Gray on April 30, 1960. Marilyn retired from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She was a “professional” driver and “WAS” a human GPS. She loved anything from the Victorian era, especially antique hats and tea pots. She enjoyed her courtyard in the back that was filled with red geraniums. Marilyn also loved her McDonald’s apple pies and always had to have the last bite of her husband’s ice cream cone tip. Surviving are her children, Pam Arbaugh, Michael (Lisa) Gray, and Carla Corrin; grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, David, Ronda, Shannon, Todd II, Kim, Taleesa, and Sandra; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Carol Grove; and best friends for more than 40 years, Phil and Sheila Arbaugh, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verl T. Gray; brothers, Ronald Grove and James (Lanora) Grove; and great-grandson, Kodi James Alexander.
