HUBER, Joseph B. “Joe Honey”. – of Clio, age 64, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 12PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
Joe Honey was born September 28, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late Carl and Nancy (Dunn) Huber. He graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1971. Joe Honey married his high school sweetheart, Roxann Mennis on June 23, 1973 at First Presbyterian Church in Flint. He was a mechanic for many years. Mr. Huber retired from Buick in 2008 with 33 years seniority. He was a Firefighter with the Clio Area Fire Department for 10 years. Joe Honey attended First Presbyterian Church in Flint. He was very kind hearted, loving, and an all-around regular Joe. Above all, he loved the title of husband, dad, and grandpa. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
Surviving are: Wife, Roxann Huber; Son, Trenton (Tina) Huber; Daughter Tiffany Charvat (Fiancé Jim Peters II); 4 grandchildren: Logan and Hayden Charvat, Alexys and Jake Huber; Siblings: Gerald (Carla) Huber, James (Ann) Huber, Karen (Roger) Crist, Carla (Ron) Gibson, Cathy (Karl) Danz, And John (Anne) Huber; Sister in law, Bonnie (Ken) Herriman; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
