DOLAN, Robert F. - of Clio, age 57, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11110 North Saginaw St, Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Tom Nenneau officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 11AM until 9PM where a prayer service will be held at 7PM. Contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Robert was born November 27, 1955 in Flint, MI to the late Earl and Eva (Mahaney) Dolan. He lived in Clio all of his life. Robert retired in 2006 from Buick after 30 years seniority and also farmed his whole life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the UAW Local# 599. Robert enjoyed farming, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: sons, Robert Dolan II (Fiancé Dani Kindt) of Clio, Thomas (Kristi) Dolan of Clio; grandchildren, Brayden Dolan, Devin Dolan and soon to be baby Deegan Dolan; brothers, Pat (Mary) Dolan of Gladwin, John (Terri) Dolan of Alger, James Dolan of Clio; sisters, Rosemary (Steve) Harrow of Flushing, Rita (Dave) Schwab of Gladwin, Mary (Doug) Potter of Clio; special nephew Scott (Lisa) Marshall.
