RoseAnn White was born on June 1, 1939, in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Ervia (Wilber) White. She was later joined by four brothers. RoseAnn graduated from New Lothrop High School in 1958. Soon after graduation, she met Curtis Allen Lewis at the Lewis Garage in Flushing. They were married on July 23, 1960. She was blessed with a son, Dean Lewis and his wife, Kelly.
RoseAnn enjoyed her gardening of fruits, vegetables, and especially the flowers. God’s creation always reminded her of His many blessings and awesomeness. She enjoyed many, many years of hosting and organizing dinners, baskets, and activites at First Baptist Church of Flushing with the Deaconesses. She cherished her many years of working with the children of the church in the nurseries and at Awana.
RoseAnn loved taking care of her family with parties and gatherings. She took many pictures and spent hours gathering them in photo albums to reminisce over and enjoy on evenings at home. She had excited interest in all the mechanical things Curt and Dean, then later Kelly would share with her.
RoseAnn was a prolific writer. She spent many hours hand-writing letters of encouragement, greetings, well-wishes, and just keeping up with friends and family. She continued to write letters even in the last weeks.
Left behind are her husband, Curt; son and daughter-in-love, Dean and Kelly Lewis; brothers, Don (Marilyn Sigafoose) White, Carl (Carol) White, Bob (Belinda) White; sisters-in-law, Wanda White and Marsha Lewis; brothers-in-law, Ron Lewis and Ed Person; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-and father-in-law, Beryl and Virginia Lewis; brother, Fred White; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Person and Tam White; and brother-in-law, Roy Lewis.
