Selina [Morris] Williams
Ms. Selina Marcell [Morris] Williams was born on July 11, 1965, to Mackenzie and Virginia [Hare] Morris, in Flint, Michigan. Confessing her devotion to Christ, Selina was baptized at an early age and anyone who knew her understood her conviction for life, was all due thanks to Jesus Christ; her driving force.
Selina was taught the importance and value of learning and graduated in 1985 from Flint Northern High School and later went on to attend college at Davenport University in Lansing, Michigan where she obtained her Associates degree in Business Administration. One of Selina's lifelong dreams was to earn her Bachelor's degree, in which she was currently enrolled at Lansing Community College.
Selina was a dedicated employee for the State of Michigan for twenty plus years.
Selina is an excellent example of a woman who shared her core values, held her family together, bettered her community, and sustained her deepest devotion for the Lord over her life-time.
Selina was a lifelong member of The Cross Missionary Baptist Church of Mt. Morris, MI. Selina was an active member of New Direction Bible Ministries of Lansing, MI. under the leadership of Pastor Freddie Thomas. While attending NDB, Selina became an executive board member; manager of the ministries businesses. She especially enjoyed being a hostess, server and manager in NDB’s Body and Soul restaurant.
Ms. Selina Williams leaves to cherish her memory: 3 children, Monta, Kimani, and Kemar Williams all of Lansing; Her mother Virginia McMillion of Flint, MI.; 2 sisters Kanswella McMillion and Letitica[Shaandre]Stinson both of Flint, MI.; 4 brothers Reggie Mitchell of Kansas City, MO., Philip Mitchell of California, Keeley Mitchell, and Antonieo[Monique]McMillion both of Flint, MI.; 4 aunts Luebirdia Thompson, Mattie Jackson, and Ernestine Hare all of Flint, MI., and Pearl Nicholson of St. Louis, MO.; 7 uncles Pastor Albert[Ann]Hare, Bonnie[Ruthie]Hare, Charlie[Beverly]Morris, Excell Morris, William Morris, Donald[Vanessa] Morris, all of Flint MI., and Norris [Glenda]Morris of Nashville, TN; 5 close friends Gloria Smith, Angel Taylor, LaSondra Sorrels all of Lansing, MI., and Trina Howell, and Lisa De loach both of Flint, MI., and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Selina was preceded in death by her grandparents Cleveland and Masusie Hare; Charlie and Gerdine Morris; her father Mackenzie Morris; and brother Kenneth (Sharrod) Morris.
On Thursday, November 13th, 2011, with her family by her bedside, Selina completed her earthly journey when God's angels called her name and took her by the hand where she knew to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord away from all sickness, sorrow, suffering and pain, to join so many other loved ones in Heaven.

| Visitation |
| Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11am for visitation. Ms. Williams now repose in the chapel of the Serenity Funeral Chapel and may viewed until 6pm Wednesday evening. |
