Rosalie J. Moorhouse, age 77, of Genesee died January 17, 2014 at home with her family.
Rosalie was born July 13, 1936 in Otisville. The daughter of the late Amasa and May Maxson. She later married Clarence Moorhouse on July 29, 1954 in Columbiaville.
Rosalie was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed volunteering and bible study. She also enjoyed working on her various crafts and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Rosalie is survived by her children: Jeffrey Moorhouse, Joni Scramlin, Joel ( Beckie ) Moorhouse, James ( Micheline ) Moorhouse, Jerald ( Sarah ) Moorhouse, Jon Moorhouse, Jennifer ( Daniel ) Moorhouse-Jordan, siblings: Jeanne Johnson and Norma Gibbs.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings and 1 grandchild.
Funeral service Tuesday 11:00 AM at Richfield Church of the Nazarene and friends may visit at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville on Monday 3-9 PM, and at the church 10AM till time of service. Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Cremation will follow the service and Rosalie’s cremains will be buried at Wood Lawn Cemetery. Memorials in memory of her may be made to the church or McLaren Hospice. |
