O’NEIL, Jeffrey – Of Grand Blanc, age 66, died Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12Noon, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
The Rev. Hakbae Moon officiating.
Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday and 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Jeffrey was born in Flint, Michigan on March 13, 1958, the son of the late Lynda Strong. Jeff, also known as “Mutt”, honorably served 22 years in the United States Army and National Guard which led him to Seoul, Korea, where he met the love of his life, Po. Jeff and Po were married on November 9, 1977, 47 years ago. They went on to welcome their two children, Shawn and Sunshine. Jeff was passionate about building and riding motorcycles. While sharing that hobby with his oldest grandson, Billy. When he wasn’t, he enjoyed hanging out with his club brothers from the Loyal Riders MC, where he donated a majority of his time to fundraising and charities. Jeff loved spending quality time with his family and friends. He was someone everyone could count on. Jeff was loved by many and will be remembered for his goofy personality. As Jeff would say, “Effing Kids, gotta do it all”. “You’re okay!”, “Too many chiefs, and one little Indian boy”.
Surviving are wife, Po O’Neil;
children, Shawn (Suzan) O’Neil and Sunshine (Tony) Pease;
grandchildren, Billy, Kieana, Shirley (Michael), Sis, Lil Tone, and Joseph;
great-grandchildren, Hudson, Kayden, Weston, Addy, Isla and Axell;
brothers, Jerry Strong and Jimmy Strong;
and sister, Christine (James) Halvarson.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Strong and nephew, Jimmy Halvarson.
