VOORHESS, Patricia A. - Of Flint, age 74, passed away peacefully Monday, April 11, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be made to ASCPA.
Visitation 5-8p.m. Wednesday and 11a.m.-2p.m. and 5-8p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 5p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Patricia was born in Flint on June 4, 1936. She retired in disability from Complete Auto Transit in 1987. Surviving are sister-in-law, Hatsue;
Nieces, Janet (John) Roesner and June (Mike) Peel;
Nephew, James (Sherri) Voorhess;
And many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Florence Voorhess, brother, Robert, sister, Margaret and nephew, John.
