VANDENBOSS, Grace Evelyn (Ward) – Of Byron, Michigan, age 89, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 101 South Ann Street, Byron, Pastor Dave Cokonougher officiating. Burial in Byron Cemetery in Byron, Michigan. Visitation 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church and 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the church. Grace was born on February 26, 1925 in Roseland, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Sylvan and Velma Elreno (Moore) Jessop and was a resident of the Byron area since 1938. She was a graduate of Byron High School, Class of 1943. She married Glen A. Ward on October 9, 1946 in Holly, Michigan and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1977. She then married Zael Vandenboss in Byron, Michigan on June 7, 1980 and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2010. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Byron and sang in the choir. Grace was a member of the UMW Circle and the Loose Senior Center in Linden. Surviving are sons, Gary and wife Evelyn Ward, Timothy and wife Cecilia Ward; six step-children, Gary and wife Margaret Vandenboss, Harold and wife Dawn Vandenboss, Edward Vandenboss, Penny and husband Jerry Ferris,
Dawn and husband Tom Devereaux; three grandchildren, Clinton Ward, Jedediah Ward and Dominga Ward; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Ward, Gabriel Ward, Aeryonna Pascal, Jonathan Pascal and Lillian Creamer; step-grandchild, Charles Phillips; four step-great-grandchildren, Harley, Emma, Jackson and Gabriel;
brother, James and wife Lorraine Jessop; one niece, Beth (Bruce) Boyer; one nephew, Mark (Julie) Jessop; three great nieces and
