Frances Elaine Anthony, age 93, of Columbiaville died Friday, August 26, 2016 at McLaren in Lapeer.
Frances was born September 19, 1922 in Richfield Township, the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel O’Dell. She later married Ben Anthony on March 29, 1941. She was a Blue Star Mother, enjoyed reading, baking cookies, and working on her families gemology. She loved helping the children when she worked at Bay Cliff.
Frances is survived by her children: Ed Jr. (Jo Ann) Anthony, Deanna (Walt) Fischhaber, Floyd (Margaret) Anthony, Bill (Debra) Anthony,
Siblings: Bob O’Dell, Ken O’Dell, and sister in-law’s: Bernadette and Mona.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben, son Dennis, grandchildren: Michael, Benny, and Katrina.
Funeral service 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit on Tuesday 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
