Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial Greenwood Cemetery, North Branch
Barbara Jean was born in Flint, Michigan on August 13, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert and Adelia (Ferguson) Groat and resided in North branch when she was younger.
She graduated from Ainsworth High School.
She was an Ordained Minister for a Native American Church, where she taught Sunday school.
Barbara was a certified Nurse's Aide.
Surviving are sons, Marvin and Anthony Davis;
father of her children, Marvin Davis, Sr.;
cousins, Dr. Gail and Kathy Harris.
She was preceded in death by cousins, Dwayne Laur and Dr. George Harris, DVM.
