TEW, KAREN MARIE age 58, died Saturday, May 4, 2018 at the Oaks of Woodfield. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Ralph Pieper officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from Noon to 2:00 P.M. Karen was born September 18, 1960 in Flint, MI to parents Lorne “Mike” and C. Lillian (Plato) Tew. Karen loved music, dancing, church, coffee, and spending time with family with vacations, camping, eating and speed “bump” boats. She participated in the Special Olympics of Genesee and Mount Pleasant in bowling, running and soft ball. Surviving are brother Michael J. Tew; sister Brenda J. (Robert) Tew Polzin; brother James M. (Sharon) Goth-Tew; several aunts; cousins; nieces and nephews in England, Philadelphia and California; her special caregivers at Woodmoor with 5 sister-roommates.
