ROACHE, James William – of Belmont, Michigan formerly of Mt. Morris, Michigan, age 66, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan with visitation hours beginning at 2:00 PM. James was born July 24, 1952 in Lorraine, Ohio to Ray and Naomi (Sandidge) Roache. He grew up in Genesee County and graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the class of 1970. He served his country in the US Army for two years. James enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a skillful craftsman and could build anything from a motorcycle to a birdhouse. He expressed his artistic abilities through painting, photography, and quilting. James was an adventurous man whether it be riding his motorcycle, metal detecting, or panning for gold.
Surviving are: Children, Amanda Roache, Amy (Nick) Roache-Fedchenko; Grandchildren, Nico Fedchenko, Drago Fedchenko, Amelia Fedchenko; Father, Ray Roache; Siblings, Cathy (Dave) Clark, Jill Hicks.
