He served in the U.S. Army.
He was an avid golfer.
Mr. Ward retired from Buick Motor Division.
Surviving are mother, Rena Ward of Flint;
brothers and sisters, Jack Ward of Tennessee,
Chuck and wife Mary Ward of Flint,
Gary and wife Nina Ward of Troy,
Bob and wife Barbara Ward of Chicago,
Carole Ward of Holly,
Jim and wife Sandy Ward of Grand Rapids;
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
