RAINWATER, Glenda Sue - of Lapeer, MI, age 74, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Reverend Betty Parsell officiating. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Friday, March 14, 2025, and 11 AM-12 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Fund at Community of Christ Church in Burton, MI, in Sue’s memory. She loved children of all ages.
Sue was born in Flint, Michigan on April 9, 1950, daughter of the late James and Mary (Parker) Rainwater. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Burton, MI. Sue enjoyed family, friends and crocheting. She crocheted over 50 afghan’s, many were for family and friends. Whenever a new niece or nephew was on the way she would go get the yarn to start on a new one.
Sue is survived by 2 siblings, Dennis (Brenda) Rainwater and Carol Walker; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Rainwater; 4 siblings, Phyllis Peck, James Rainwater, Sandra Hutchinson and David Rainwater.
