George Assaf – Age 66, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Mr. Assaf was born January 26, 1949 in Syria the son of Kamal and Zahra Assaf. Surviving are his wife, Ragida Assaf; children, Mariam Assaf, Jomana Najjar, Elias Najjar, Tricia Assaf, Reema Assaf, John Najjar, Georgina Assaf; grandchildren, Faith Assaf, James Groth, Mason Groth; brothers, Abdullah Assaf, Assaf Assaf, Bahij Assaf; sisters, Mariam Assaf, Naima Assaf. Mr. Assaf was preceded in death by his brother, Chebli Assaf. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reigle Funeral Home. A Trisagion Service will be held 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church 4133 Calkins Rd., Flint, MI. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
