ZUEHLKE, Beverly - Beverly Ann Borst was born in Pontiac, MI on September 9, 1931 to parents Louis and Marjorie. She had two brothers: Larry (deceased) and Tom Borst. Marriage brought her to Grand Blanc in 1960 where she would later become a familiar face because of her many years in customer service at Laurie’s Children’s Shop, Nicole’s, and eventually at Bill Knapp’s. She passed away on July 26th lovingly surrounded by her children Robert Zuehlke, Michael Zuehlke, and Valerie Zuehlke Bearden. A memorial service will be held at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 9020 South Saginaw Road in Grand Blanc on Sunday, September 8 at 2 pm with a reception directly thereafter in the Fellowship Hall. No flowers or plants please; a donation may be made to St. Christopher’s church with “Beverly Zuehlke Memorial Fund” noted on the memo line. Her remains will be buried in the gravesite of her eldest son, Jimmy, on Monday September 9th, which would have been her 82nd birthday. She is survived by her brother, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and an abundance of “extended family” a.k.a. close friends.
