William “Bill” O. Arnold
Age 66 of Owosso passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Memorial Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday, September 9, 2013 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 8pm.
Bill was born September 18, 1946 in Owosso, the son of Oren and Marion (Spayde) Arnold.
He graduated from Owosso High School and served in the United States Navy.
Bill loved to cook for family and friends and looked forward to a good party. He had a great life and loved being at his cabin up-north on Ford Lake. Bill was an avid football fan; especially U of M football and enjoyed working with wood. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his best friend Shadow.
He married Judith Davison in Lake City on June 6, 1987; she predeceased him in 2009.
Bill retired from General Motors Buick City in 1994 after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his children Bill (Mitzi) Arnold Jr., Shannon (Darin) Schultz, Linda (David) Hartman, Kevin (Lisa) Fike and Sherry (Matt) Stock; grandchildren Katie, Brittany, Johnathon, Chelsea, Carly, David (Ashley), Nichole, Daniel, NaDeana,Tatum, Kayla and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Mason, Jacob and David; his loving sister Linda Tew; brothe Jim Wing; his little buddy Shadow; many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, parents and 2 sisters Carolyn and Ruth.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the V.F.W. or charity of donors’ choice.
