Mr. Oscar S. Horton Jr., age 84 of Flint, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2014. Beloved father of Donna Phipps & Randy (Margaret) Horton. Dear grandpa of Heath, Julie, Mark, Melissa & Katie. Great grandpa to 5 great granddaughters. Brother of Pat Farthing. Oscar also leaves his special buddies Chuck & Roland. He was preceded in death by his parents & 2 siblings. Oscar was a former member of the Lions Club for many years. His passions were golfing & bowling. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service & Veteran’s honors will take place Tuesday, June 3, 11am at Great LakesNationalCemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly.
