ARCHAMBAULT, Robert Eugene -- Age 79, of Fenton, died February 22, 2013 at his residence. On this day my soulmate and best friend went into the hands of Jesus. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, March 1 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, 1-3 and 5-8 PM Thursday with a 7 PM Vigil service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
Mr. Archambault was born May 2, 1933 in Flint the son of Oscar Eugene and Mary Teresa (Slosar) Archambault. He married Juanita Stilwell on August 27, 1955 in Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in England during the Korean Conflict. He retired from G.M. Buick as a tool and die maker in 1988. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Bob was "Handyman Extraordinare" and "Mr. Fix-it." Surviving are: wife of 57 years, Juanita; five children of their union, Sheri (Vere) Brown of Laingsburg, Jerry (Diane) Archambault of Richfield Springs NY, Paula (Rob) Selves of Flushing, Dan (Donna) Archambault of Gaines, Jeff (Jeneane) Archambault of Fenton; grandchildren, Jami (Kelly) Anderson, Brendan Becker, Natalie (Aaron) Melvin, Caleb Archambault, Kate Archambault, Elisabeth Brown, Pete Brown, Amanda Brown; great-grandchildren, Owen, Ian, Isabel, Addison, Austin; siblings, Ronald (Pat) of Fenton, Pauline (Mike) Miller of Traverse City, David (Carol) of Gladwin, Deanna (John) Stipe of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews.
