GUEST, Gloria M. – of Davison, age 81, passed away September 6, 2017 at The Cottage of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, September 11, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Rd., Flint; Pastor Jack Dowden officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10-11 AM Monday at the church. Visitation will be held 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S Washington St, Hale, MI. Burial will follow in Esmond – Evergreen Cemetery, Hale, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Gloria was born in Curtisville, MI on August 17, 1936, daughter of the late Alvin and Lorraine (Barnes) Redmond and she married Duane C. Guest. Her lifetime work was to be a loving Christian wife and mother. Gloria taught Sunday school for over forty years.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Philip (Brenda), Tim, Michael (Sandra), Stephen (Kim), Ruth (Mark) Aronoff; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Virgil Redmond; brothers-in-law, Robert Bowles and Dennis Chrivia. She was predeceased by her son, David.
