CREWS, Charles Will – of Davison, age 78, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Daniel A. Wonderly officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday until the time of service.
Charles was born in Samson, Alabama on September 24, 1934, son of the late John and Claudia (Wise) Crews. He married Patricia Montney on May 7, 1955 in Flint, MI. Charles worked at General Motors for 37 years and was a member of Local #659.
Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Karen (Henry) Lovelady, Christopher (Darla) Crews, John Crews, James (Cynthia) Crews, Deborah (Scott) Siekierski; grandchildren, Henry (Amy), Jennifer, Marcie (Dwayne), Warren (Stephanie), Tyler, Tia, Miranda, Sophia, Gavin, Emma, Abigail; great-grandchildren, Brenden, Cheyenne, Caleb, Ethan, Carlie, Wyatt, Aleah and one great grandchild on the way; siblings, Earl (Wanda) Crews, Katie Labadie, Wilmer Crews, Nell Chambers. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Weeks.
