ROBART, Ellwood K. – Of Flint, age 92, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church, 3397 Windland, Flint,
Reverend John K. Price officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Covenant Hills Camp in Otisville.
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Robart will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
Ellwood was born in Barryton, Michigan on January 3, 1921, the son of the late Grant and Mary Robart and was a resident of Flint.
On July 5, 1958 he married Ruth L. Kraak in Grand Rapids.
He attended Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church.
He was an avid softball player up until the age of 84.
Mr. Robart was employed by GM for 25 plus years @ Service/Parts Operations.
He enjoyed golfing, playing the harmonica, spending time with his family and wintering in Florida. He leaves a Christ Like Legacy for his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are wife, Ruth;
children, Marvin (Dana),
Norman (Judy) and William (Connie);
grandchildren, Rob, Ryan, Rick, Roan, Shawn, Brad, Jamie and Matthew;
also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Jeff and Brian.
