John "Jack" F. Harrison
Age 71 of Owosso passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Welcome Home Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Grace Pointe Wesleyan Church with Pastor Wes Coffey officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery . The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 7pm.
Jack was born September 2, 1944 in Lansing, the son of Martin and Fredricka (Riffel) Harrison.
He graduated from Everett High School, class of 1962, Spring Arbor University and earned a M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Jack was a member of Grace Pointe Wesleyan Church.
Jack enjoyed reading, golfing and was an avid University of Michigan Football fan but his true love resided with his family and his true passion was his community. He played a very active role at the Missions Faith in Flint.
He married Omega Sue Drake in Lansing on June 7, 1985.
Jack started his banking career at Chemical Bank (Key State Bank) as Bank President in 1984; he continued his career at Wells Fargo where he retired from in 2009.
Jack is survived by his wife Sue; children Angela (Mark) Moncier, Jill (Rick) Bridges, Dr. Lynn Happel, Don Inman and Andy (Wanda) Inman; brother Keith (Diane) Harrison; grandchildren Ashlee, Krystal and Joey Moncier, Joshua Harrison-Espinoza; Wade and Grant Happel, Morgan and Meredith Inman; many other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister Carol Cassidy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Pointe Church, the Alzheimer's Association or Welcome Home Veterans.
