CLUTTS, Charles “Charlie” – Of Flint, age 88, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Valley Christian Academy.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Clutts was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, on November 4, 1922, the son of George and Meffie Clutts and resided in the Flint area for most of his life.
He married Mary Smith in 1941 and she preceded him in death in 1979.
Mr. Clutts was a member of the Bristol Road Church of Christ.
Surviving are brother-in-law, James and wife Ruth Phelps;
sister-in-law, Wilma Smith;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janis and his son, Dale.
