Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. As a devoted homemaker, Gladys excelled in her roles as wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, offering a nurturing presence that touched everyone she met. Gladys found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her green thumb was evident in her beautifully tended flower gardens, and her home was always adorned with seasonal decorations that reflected her creative spirit. She had a keen eye for holiday decorations, was an avid shopper, and enjoyed the excitement of car shows. Gladys was also known for her competitive spirit during family game nights and her playful pranks that never failed to bring smiles. During the winter months, Gladys and Bob enjoyed passing the time doing jig-saw puzzles. A passionate sports fan, Gladys cheered fervently for the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. She found immense happiness in attending her grandchildren's sporting events, always a proud and enthusiastic supporter. Her love for baking and cooking was matched by her talent for sewing, and she delighted in sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. Gladys's sense of adventure was evident in her love for traveling and exploring new places. A dedicated member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Gladys worked alongside Sharon Duetsch and fellow church members to support the community through organizing and assisting with funeral dinners. Her faith and commitment to serving others were central to her life. Gladys will be remembered for her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her.
