Stacy Jean Horn, age 55, of Flint, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence. A funeral service will take place 11:00 AM, Monday, April 22, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor James Green will preside with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 21 at the funeral home and again from 10:00 AM until the time of service Monday. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Bride of Christ Church Ministries, 3617 Dale Avenue, Flint, where Stacy was a member and was treated as family.
Stacy was born on September 3, 1968 in Flint the daughter of Ron and Sandy (Arthur) Horn. She graduated class of 1988 from Clio High School. Many friends and family enjoyed her sense of humor, her sense of style and appreciated how she viewed the world. Stacy believed that everyone was a friend and was not afraid to talk to anyone and everyone. She was born with Tuberous Sclerosis which caused her to struggle with endless seizures, learning difficulties and other health and physical issues. She was a warrior through countless surgeries and challenges. Her faith in the Lord showed us all what it means to believe and to trust in all things.
She is survived by her parents, Ron and Sandy (Arthur) Horn; sister, Michelle (Ric) Pyrett; niece, Megan Pyrett all of Clio. Additionally, her uncle Ron and aunt Phyliis Hensel, who were like her second parents and many aunts, uncles and cousins; including special friend, Jeff McGrew.
