John Matthew Harada, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He was born on December 11, 1947 in Tokyo, Japan, but was a resident of Grand Blanc for most of his life. John owned and operated Harada and Associates for 48 years. He was loved by so many people, and he will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to be blessed by his charismatic presence. John never met a stranger, and his personality would light up an entire room; he truly was one of a kind. John and his wife had the kind of love that everyone admired, and they loved each other unconditionally for 20 years. He loved being outdoors, woodworking, fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Sugar Springs Gladwin. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rhonda; children: Camille Hoffman, Rachelle Harada, Justin (Carol Westesson) Harada, Christal (David) Rembowski, Stacy (Jackson) Luce, and Lindsey Grover; grandchildren: Westley, Steven, Timothy, John, Robert, Gage, Tyler, Hannah, Carolyn, Dylan, and Brighton. He was preceded in death by parents: Lula and Henry Harada. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 4-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, and again on Monday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12pm. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution may do so to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. |
