KRUEGER, Karl Warren –of Millington, MI, age 53, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, MI 48506; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-8 PM Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, in Karl’s memory.
Karl was born in Flint, MI on October 19, 1963, son of Warren and the late Joan (Anderson) Krueger. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Karl married Brenda Howell on February 27, 1998. He was employed with Cable Properties from 1991-2001. Until recently, Karl was the “Doughnut Man” at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth, MI. He loved cooking, reading, Jeopardy, working on cars, collecting various treasures and listening to music, especially The Beatles and Harry Nilsson. Karl was a born handyman and he could fix anything.
Karl is survived by his wife of 19 years, Brenda; daughter, Melanie Krueger; sister, Gayle (Joseph) Forgette; 2 nephews, Lance and Miles LeDuc; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Krueger in 1966.
