SKIDMORE, Mary - of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery will take place at a later date. Contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice. Mary was born September 6, 1929 in Flint to the late James and Emma (Parise) Fodera. She lived in the Flint area her entire life. She married Robert C. Skidmore on May 24, 1952. Mrs. Skidmore was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Italian Ladies Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed bowling and playing Bunco. Surviving are: Husband, Robert C. Skidmore; Sons: Robert J. Skidmore (companion Janis Darling) of Clio, Rocky Skidmore (companion Ann Roettger) of Birch Run; Daughter-in-law, Carmen Skidmore of Ortonville; 4 Grandchildren: Megan, Craig, Holly and Heather; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Fran (Walter) Chojnowski of PA; nieces and nephews.
