Diane Ray age 76 of Durand passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at McLaren Hospital of Flint. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor Aaron Kesson will be officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Diane Handwerker was born December 30, 1942 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Louis and Sylvia (Thomas) Handwerker. On November of 2013 she married Bob Bowen. Diane was a member of the Aero R/C Club and the Mid Michigan Classic Car Club. She enjoyed horses, rabbits, birds, and car shows. She retired in 2002.
Diane is survived by her husband, Bob Bowen; children, James (Jill) Navarre, Dan (Pam) Navarre and Yunsuk Navarre; grandchildren, Rosie, Amanda, Brandon, Tyler, Tiffany, Heather, Caitlin and Mesuk; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sylvia Handwerker and sister, Barb. Memorial Contributions in Diane's name are suggested to the American Lung Association.
